In our second reference we have two unknown artists on the Nu / Disco scene but they are two super talented portuguese producers that been involved for years in the House scene , they are Cesare and Felipe (Jackspot) now known as Cisco Cisco, both resided in Lisbon and are headliners of the apersonal family.

"If you want me" and "Giro Disco" are his presentation card to the world. With groove, soul, funk and a modern sound but without losing the essence of disco they produced a nice ep f orientated to the floor. There is little to say about them but there will be plenty to talk about.

Jay Shepheard is responsible for remixing this gem, known for his productions in Compost, Freerange and Buzzing Fly . In this remix version Jay turns up the pitch and changes the hole story, a slow burner for those open minds, a nice version that complete this ep.

about

It would be a complete mistake for any house imprint not to include a US talent in his catalog, this wont be the case for Apersonal Music. On its third effort the label takes his first journey to the grounds of American House. From Arizona, Michael J Collins with remix rework from Boston’s house-sons Soul Clap, plus the first collaboration for Apersonal from Maurice Aymard.

A side single “Nothing Wrong With Holding On” show us the most eclectic side of the label so far. Looped vocals, broken house with a saxo on top. Michael’s talent goes beyond genres mixing elements from different styles to create this great piece of music.

Soul Clap delivers, as usual, top stuff! In their Remix they speed up the bpm and add a hip-breaker bassline taking the original track to the dancefloor war zone.

Second remix from Maurice Aymard, himself at the controls plus Venezuelan producer Garnica hitting the drums, they take the track to a trippy slowmo version, what Maurice’s catalogs as his best remix so far.
